No interest in Hathaway or JvR; we have experienced forwards already - and Danforth wouldn't be scratched. Edler would be quite nice as a mentor, though.

I really don't see the Jackets going out for veteran wingers during the offseason. The kids need to play at some point.

Despite the unnecessary additions of JVR and Hathaway, any CBJ roster with Bedard on it is still beautiful.

Edler is an interesting pickup. I think CBJ have to find another LD next year to at least be a one- or two-year bridge to Mateychuck and Svozil. Mateychuck is playing on the right side for Moose Jaw, so not sure if he'll play right or left side when he gets to the NHL.
