Caution abounds for ANY team acquiring ROR. Nothing to do with talent, but for a guy coming off a 6 week foot injury that's publicly stated that he doesn't want to go anywhere, combined with his actual body of work (for this year)....Seems like a ton of risk to an acquiring team.

Do you consider things like receiving teams salary cap situation? TB CAN'T do salary for futures. They had to send Perbix down to Syracuse to make cap space so, they could activate a league minimum contract from LTIR then send him down and call Perbix back up.

No chance on the Barbashev trade. Everyone knows that he disappears in the playoffs, so he's got next to no value to any playoff team.

If you want to do something around Acciari and Puljujarvi I think Edmonton would be interested.

His body of work aside, his body of mass is going to be a big concern. Long gone are the days of RoR running stairs every morning. I bet he's a solid 20lbs overweight when he comes back from a broken foot.

Especially with a broken foot. Not a pediatrist but I'd think running up and down stairs with a broken foot would hinder recovery

Lol, my bad. Need to explain better. I meant when healthy he doesnt do the extras anymore and is probably not even using a bike or other methods.

Also not if you're David Goggins lol
