Eichel is not a good comp he's been on a decline for a few years due to injury. Timo in the other hand is getting better and better. Timo is outplaying Debrincat, Eichel, Tarasenko. He's clearly the best of those 4.

That said, this deal is hard to pass up. I'd accept.

Trade value is not just about talent. Eichel was under a long term contract. Meier is one year away from UFA. Teams like BUF, WPG and EDM know better than to overpay for such a player because of their difficulty to be attractive.
