And that can change come deadline. What the GMs say now and what happens during deadline could be different as history has shown.

The Wild can’t afford to move their high picks over the course of cap hell, with the likelihood of not making the playoffs being quite high during that span. As for Hayes, make it half retention and Canes probably accept.

Interesting idea for sure, but Seattle's not going to trade Dunn plus draft capital for Provorov. That would be counter-productive for the Kraken.
