A 1st for Schenn is hilarious. The guy is not prime Bobby Orr or Chris Pronger. Be happy if the Canucks get a 3rd.

Toronto is not trading a 1st for Schenn, and you want them to add a roster player? Definitely not.

And why on earth is New Jersey paying to move Johnsson when he's a pending UFA?

No one is giving a 1st for Schenn, Leafs don't even need to dump Kerfoot as part of that trade.
New Jersey will just dump Johnsson as part of whatever trade they end up making. He's an expiring contract so he's a free dump for them this way. Cost of doing business.
Minnesota would have a lot of trouble making Boeser's contract work going forward. That doesn't get easier when you are giving them more cap that isn't expiring in a bad defenseman.

That Demko trade would have been considered if he was traded last off season or during the last trade deadline. Can't say he's going to get that package

really don't care about where the trades are fair or not. But here is my top 9.

Kuzmenko - Pettersson - Beau
Greenway - Miller - Garland
Podz - Kerfoot - Laz

That Minny trade is a hard no. Can't give you Middleton. I would do this trade with 50% retention on Boeser and Goligoski instead of Middleton. Anything else doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Middleton is playing on our top pair with Spurgeon.

Nucks fans are really going off the rails about Schenn's value lately...must be because he shoots right, this site really overrates those RHD!

Schenn gets a second at best, third and a prospect seems fair as well, but likely a second.

Another absurd Petersen-and-a-first wet dream, totally ignorant of the actual math involved.

We don't have to pay anything to get rid of Petersen's cap hit because we don't have to get rid of Petersen's cap hit. Why do some people find that simple concept beyond them? Do the same people think that Chicago is considering whether to trade Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews because of their $10.5 million cap hits?

Demko is entering the eleventh week of his 6-week rehab period. The Canucks have 8 games after today before the trade deadline, and Demko hasn't been reactivated yet. Any GM who trades for Demko now would automatically earn consideration for Idiot of the Year award.

Leafs can dump Kerfoot on another team and get a late pick out of it.

Vancouver is not getting anymore 1sts, not unless they trade Demko, Petteerrssonn or Hughes. Dream on.

We'll Demko is one of the trades and I absolutely think the value of Schenn will be high like a 2nd.

If the leafs want to dump Kerfoot they will be sending the pick not receiving one.

Kerfoot is not making huge money. And he's a UFA. So he doesn't have a bad contract. Dubas will most likely keep him, or, if need be, put him on waivers.
