I like Määttä. He's an option. Definitely would counter offer. Not giving up a 2nd and a prospect. But he's an option I would consider.

You do realize that Puljujarvi is going on waivers right? No way am i trading Bertuzzi for Pool-Party and a 2nd. When we can have Pool-Party for free in a few days from now.

Putting pullijarvi on waivers doesn’t help the oil that much; they gain only $1.125M of space, unless someone claims him. Hard to see who would claim him? He could be useful but very few competitive teams have the space to absorb him, not unless that would be the only move they make
