I think it’s likely that the Kings move a defenseman. I’m not a fan, but from what I’ve seen, they have a surplus at that position.

I think you're really close here. And contrary to other opinions, I do believe it could be Bjornfot if that's what the Yotes insist on. But I also think Spence makes a lot of sense for both sides.

In any case, nice job presenting both options and keeping them very reasonable. I have seen Kings fans (understandably) wanting to use the 2024 1st over 2023, but Chychrun is too good and has too good of a contract. I'd be shocked if they got away with that.

Edit: I just deleted my acgm for this trade since you basically already did it.

Yeah. We should know soon. My guess is there was an agreement for a trade yesterday but they didn't want to announce it on Super Bowl day, and it's now too early in the morning to announce it on the West Coast.
