your not keeping Meier because your not getting him for that. Robertson is small and injury prone and doesn’t fit Griers style he is trying to build. and a late 1st next year isn’t worth much more than a late 2nd this year.

None of these trades are realistic.

Name the playoff team that offers a 1st that's not a late 1st? Honest question, I do like Mier in NJ but I do think SJ will be ultimately disappointed in the return of 2023 1st (between 24-32) an A prospect and some random mediocre but useful NHL player

Personally i hate the idea moving a 26 year old premier power wing for prospects and picks, but i get the reasoning, still this is less than underwhelming

Sharks won't be disappointed at all. Meier is the biggest prize at the trade deadline. It's not about the 1st or cap dump. It's about which team can offer the best prospect. It's hard to top Holtz.

I wouldn't be overly excited either, but he is the big ticket , he is the best option for any team looking to upgrade, and he does have the most value out of the lot available, the only knock is the QO required to retain his services

I guess time will tell, it is very difficult to move a 26 year old 30 goal scorer with team control and then over the next few seasons be like ya that was great idea, glad we did that

laugh Sorry but an injury prone Robertson, A pending UFA in Kerfoot and a 2024 1st round pick isn't getting Timo Meier. Teams like the Devils and Sabres and Canes would blow away that offer. Plus it's already been made known that Mike Grier wants a 2023 1st for Meier.

Mike Grier also stated at the start of the season he'd like to make playoffs

LOL Rutherford also said that Vancouver wants to make the playoffs, But trading Horvat, Boeser and Garland which is already a trash team. Isn't being realistic.

So that somehow translates to him accepting a horrible lowball trade that makes zero sense for the Sharks. Sure, stop being so delusional

I never said he'd accept it, all I said was tamper expectations, you do have competition in the trade market with the likelihood hood Ottawa makes The Cat available and at that moment all the teams interested in Timo are also interested in the Cat

I feel bad for Quinn Hughes. He's still trying so hard and it doesn't seem like any of his teammates care.

I didn't understand that. I would've re-signed Horvat long term and traded Miller and Boeser.
