Name the playoff team that offers a 1st that's not a late 1st? Honest question, I do like Mier in NJ but I do think SJ will be ultimately disappointed in the return of 2023 1st (between 24-32) an A prospect and some random mediocre but useful NHL player

Sharks won't be disappointed at all. Meier is the biggest prize at the trade deadline. It's not about the 1st or cap dump. It's about which team can offer the best prospect. It's hard to top Holtz.

I wouldn't be overly excited either, but he is the big ticket , he is the best option for any team looking to upgrade, and he does have the most value out of the lot available, the only knock is the QO required to retain his services

Sorry but an injury prone Robertson, A pending UFA in Kerfoot and a 2024 1st round pick isn't getting Timo Meier. Teams like the Devils and Sabres and Canes would blow away that offer. Plus it's already been made known that Mike Grier wants a 2023 1st for Meier.
