Having seen Chicago last night, Murphy is not remotely close to worth anything. He's a negative asset. 4+ million? He's not worth 2. The whole team is utterly inept defensively.

Thinking Murphy does anything for this team is just silly. He got wrecked last night. Both him and McCabe aren't good. They look better then their teammates but really aren't anything special.

Not going into trades, but those defensive pairings are pretty horrendous, Murphy in at 3LD, when hes a RD, Sandin (whos averaging 16 mins a game) goes up to 2LD, and a pretty non physical/crease clearing defense = good work, this is a first round exit team

Yeah... a 23 2nd. And Abruzzese is almost 24, so we can stop calling him a prospect. He's just an AHL player at this point. Long story short, loads of teams will lap this offer.

Robertson and Abracadabra are suspects. Not prospects. Barby isn't overrated at all. That's why there's so much interest in him. You simply don't understand value. Pay up or you don't get the player. Leafs aren't bidding against themselves.
