Y'all must not realize goalies never get a first round pick. Many better, more accomplished goalies have went for less.

Better goalie or not we are losing first round, if we even make playoffs. Not worth it

Vejmelka is getting more than a glorified backup in DeSmith and 2 2nd round picks. Or Bill Armstrong keeps him.

You can have Nedeljkovic for a signed poster of Robert Lang. Actually it doesn't even have to be signed. It could be Lang's poster signed by Mike Lange. Michael, Michael, motorcycle!

You’re acting like he’s an expiring UFA, if you want a team’s starter with term it costs you.

That's not true, Kuemper got a 1st+3rd and he was on an expiring deal. Plus, Arz wants an overpay for him. I'm not saying that's what he's worth, I'm saying that's what the cost will be. Armstrong is going to consider him as a starter with a low cap hit for 2 more years. Most starts, even 1B tandem goalies are making 3m+.
