You should have to pay just to get rid of the Foegele contract let alone get Domi, and get him retained.

Take Foegele out of the deal and the Hawks probably accept. Domi half retained is worth a 2nd all day long

Blues should do that.

So should Holland. They absolutely need someone like Parayko. A late 1st is a scratch ticket and Bouchard is a disaster in his own end. They have to add in the McDrai window at this kind of uncomfortable cost. Of course, many will hate it whom think draft picks that late are so valuable for some reason

I still think Bouchard can get better in his own end. The only issue with the Blues is they need a better veteran to play on the left side of him to help him reach his potential sort of like Chara with McAvoy. With Parayko's cap hit, contract, and him not reaching offensive potential, it seems worth it. Blues have zero young RHD that have potential to be great

Yes, He can get better and even become a good defenseman but the disconnect is that the Oilers cant wait for him with Mcdavid and Draisaitl only together another 2 years. If things stay status quo, they are NOT resigning.

The thing I always tell Oilers fans is if you wouldnt trade either of them for any return then why is any other player untouchable on the OIlers. That is essentially a contradiction. You do everything in your power to keep them if we are speaking in good faith terms and that includes dumping potential for quick fixes.

You'll have to choose between Ekholm and Parayko. Just can't afford them both with a full roster.
If you're moving Foegele you're going to have to aim lower or add more for Domi.
Not sure about value on the other trades, but you can probably get the one you want regardless using those assets. Have to pick a target first.

Bouchard is about twice as good as Parkayko right now, both offensively and defensively

He most definitely is not. Bouchard plays sheltered mins and has zero trust from the coaching staff

Bouchards quality of competition is above league average. Parayko is on the ice for significantly more shots against and goals against, so how can he better defensively. This isn’t 2018.

Agreed. With McDavid and Draisaitl they can't afford to wait much longer. For Blues fans who think that's not enough for Parayko they clearly haven't been watching the last two years.

His defensive partners haven't helped at all. Parayko always gets left in limbo because he should be paired with someone else like Bouwmeester but instead he's trying to defend both sides of the ice as opposed to one.
