Buf, Stl, Det may be interested in him after season. But he will be traded this deadline. I doubt any team will trading for him without extentintion chance.

Not a chance Buffalo trades Quinn and they have plenty of prospects to offer instead

I don’t see the Sabres making Quinn available

I’d imagine it’s more likely that the Sharks would get 1 of the 4 guys we’ve chosen in the 1st round in the past 2 drafts

I'm ok with that as well, but the price needs to be adjusted

I'm confused. The Sabres have their first this year (and next), plus recent firsts- savoie, ostlund, kulich, and rosen. Plus 3 seconds in this draft. We should have plenty of ammunition to bid against anybody, the real question is how much we should really be willing to spend. I think the Sabres should go- 23 first, ostlund, and a young player like mittelstadt, with a second thrown in if necessary. If it costs more than that, I just wanna drive up the cost for jersey.

If Snuggerud is where you draw the line, then not a chance Meier is going to be a Blue. St. Louis has nothing else of interest in terms of prospects or young players.

The only thing i think that’s safe to assume is that it would be 1 of the guys we’ve picked recently
    + a 1st

Beyond that, I’d guess possibly another prospect (like Portillo possibly) and/or a roster player, like Mittelstadt maybe

Increased price by including Vrana's contract. Is Edvinsson in play? The prospect I'm most interested in.

I know. But its Meier worth losing some of it now? This can tamper their progress in long term.

    Well said
    We could outbid anyone
Will we/should we, is the more pertinent question

They have a top 5 prospect pool if not number 1 and 4 picks in the 1st 2 rounds this year

    How?

I think some of prospects can overperform value of present Meier in future.
