laugh laugh A pending UFA and a 2025 1st that's 3 drafts away doesn't get Bertuzzi at full value let alone with nearly 50% retained. What a royal joke. Bertuzzi isn't available and that crap doesn't get him anyways.

The 2025 1st is actually the Leafs most valuable trade chip. I think every GM would want it. But it looks like Dubas won't trade anymore future 1sts.

First off per the new CBA, You can't base picks on conditions of resigning So your conditions aren't aloud and Yzerman would never accepts picks that're 3 and 4 drafts down the road. We want pieces that will help us now not 10 years later.

Engvall will help the Wings now. And the 1st can be flipped to a team like Chicago, Vancouver or Arizona.

And Sandin > Kulikov

Sandin gets pushed around in front of the net a little too easily. Kulikov has man strength.

CBA doesn’t allow for resign conditions. Regardless, 1st without conditions is the min acceptable offer; Dets in a playoff spot so any offer would need to be significant, any less than they just keep him as their own rental

In the near future, definitely. But not this Spring against the big bruisers in Tampa and Boston.

As long as the objective of the game is to put pucks in nets, whilst keeping them out of your own net, then I'm taking Sandin.

It's a mute point because he'll probably be injured by game 1 anyways. I don't trust him to stay healthy for any long stretch. And there's a possibility he gets traded by the deadline.

He's on too good of a contract, has too great a 2-way game, and has too good a chemistry with Liljegren.

Unless they're getting a superstar return, Sandin stays in.

I agree. But apart from their first round picks, and Knies, who is untouchable imo, he is the best trade chip they have. I don't think Dubas trades him for anyone, only for a top 4 D with term like a Chychrun.

If Arizona's demands for Chychrun were reasonable, they would've dealt him by now.

This trade saga has gone on for literally years now.

Wings decline. Bertuzzi has way more value than people think, plus it looks like they will hang onto him anyway

Gonna have to add for Domi. Everyone just keeps trying to sneak him into trades without paying for him.

We have to many forwards and we do not need another 4th like e forward. Sorry Wings are in the .middle of trying to land one of the 2 wild card Playoff spots, so should just say screw it and take a player that is not half as good and forget about the playoffs?

Seriously Leaf fans are desperate and delusional.

Sorry to Pahal, Dutchies and the few that understand that Yzerman is not going to just give away something to help Toronto.

Engvall would be the 4th best big man on our team behind Rasmussen, Sundqvist, and Soderblom.

I’d want a much better return for McCabe and Domi like one A or two B level prospects and a few draft picks, not a rental bottom 6 forward and a fringe bottom pairing defensemen who’s also overpaid

Domi and McCabe are not worth that.

Maybe for McCabe, but not for Domi.
