Nothing is 100%, but there is a limit to how many players you can put on the ice at a certain time. Also - Davidson would be a fool to include in package when he would be able to get more from another team in a separate deal.

What do you think Laf is worth? Davidson isn’t just giving him away. There will be an appropriate amount going back for him. Kane is the one that is heavily discounted by having 1 destination. And if getting a return for Kane is including Laf then it’s happening.

If you have 13 forwards and subtract two, then add two you still have 13. So that means Laf, Motte, or Vesey sit in the press box. Having depth is one thing but seems a bit much.
