Description
Is it possible that the Pens trade both goalies, Desmith for obvious reasons and Jarry cuz he's hurt to often, and make a couple minor moves to help with 3rd C and cap space. I would love to trade Carter as well but we all know Hex loves him.

Why would Toronto trade Lafferty? They just acquired him. He has another year left on his contract. The Bennett trade is a full diaper for Florida. 💩 Gibson trade makes no sense for a rebuilding Ducks team.

ANA has no incentive taking on 2 expiring UFAs a week before the deadline.
I think CBJ would want a pick back with DeSmith.
You are paying to dump McGinn.
Leafs just got Lafferty, he wont move again.
Panthers can probably do better.

It's more about I want him back in PIT. I know TOR isn't gonna trade him but this is about hopes and dreams right?

These are all terrible and all are turned down. Leafs just got Laff, so they say no.

CBJ says no to both.

You can't move carter, literally so people need to even stop thinking about it.

and that ANA deal just is a big no. Two UFAs and a 2nd for a young UFA and a goalie with Term? That does nothing for ANA, you'd have to add more to that.

I guess it's possible - but hopefully it doesn't happen. This tandem is just more expensive and worse. And the Pens are adding on a 2nd

I think Jimmy Rutherford spoiled you guys. He used to trade someone every week it seemed. So you're now always expecting something to happen. Your fanbase is still experiencing trade withdrawal. Hence all the "Get off your ass and do something Hexy!" CFACGM's. 😁

Gibson currently has a .902 SV% and a 3.64 GSAx. Jarry has a .917 SV% and a 6.16 GSAx. Calling Jarry a worse goalie at any point in the last 2 or 3 seasons is laughable.
And before you complain about the Ducks' defense, the Pens are also pretty bad defensively. 4th highest shots against/game, and the most of any team who isn't in the Bedard sweepstakes.

Pens are trying to win now. Gibson and Comtois do not help with that. Jarry and Zucker do.

In that case, time to make an ACGM where every asset I'm trading is basically Tanner Jeannot.
