His one way contract of $1,133,333 is buried in minors and therefore $1,125,000 (which is the maximum) is relieved from original sum = $8,333

This makes less sense than the Wyatt Kalynuk trade below. At least the Rangers are playoff bound and could use the injury insurance. This is nothing for nothing.
