Hall has M NTC. Good luck getting anyway in return if a team wants his 6m contract, otherwise they can just sign a UFA (like you did).

Sure just dump 13 million in salary, get the ufas to stay, don't pay swayman, forget the bonus money and get krecji and Berg to sign again but for less.

NSH is in no position to be buying and wasting their newly acquired draft capital on Hall. There's a reason we blew it up

Trading Federeric then replacing him with Lindblom, a downgrade that costs more, is bad business.

Buyout Reilly keep Frederic. Less cap hit, better team.

It’s a 10 team NTC. He can be traded to 21 teams without his consent. And there won’t be many UFAs better that are better options.

Trading him for value won’t be that difficult.

He would be their best LD, by a significant margin. The sharks left D is horrible.

They could also flip him for a first in about 8 seconds.

Logjam? Lol. You are hilarious. If the logs are turds…sure. Your ridiculous over the top homerism always makes me laugh.

So Trent frederic is so much better than lindblom, and will be cheaper. That moves strange.

Horrible return for grzelcyk.

Take it easy y'all. Sharks have primarily LD on roster/prospects. Saying "logjam" is definitely stretching it if we're talking quality/proven. But in comparison, RD players/pipeline is atrocious. One might say LD appears to be a "logjam" in comparison to RD haha.

Do they have a single good LD on their roster?

In fairness, this isn’t jsut about this particular post. The poster being referenced here seems to think the sharks are winning the cup this year somehow.

LD - Vlasic/Ferraro are both fine but way overpaid/years remaining on contracts. Ferraro seems to have regressed this year but has also played out of position/RD. Propspects - Muk, Thrun, Nikita (all recently acquired) seem promising. Simek is solid as well but has had multiple concussions which is concerning.

RD - pretty much just Benning if EK is traded in the offseason. It's brutal.

Never said it was a good log jam but it’s all guys with term. Makes no sense to take more term back.

If he’s so valuable why doesn’t Boston move him for a 1st then?

They absolutely should if they decide to move him. I would think a first and a third.

FYI at the time of this trade he doesn’t have term
