He would be their best LD, by a significant margin. The sharks left D is horrible.

Take it easy y'all. Sharks have primarily LD on roster/prospects. Saying "logjam" is definitely stretching it if we're talking quality/proven. But in comparison, RD players/pipeline is atrocious. One might say LD appears to be a "logjam" in comparison to RD haha.

Do they have a single good LD on their roster?

In fairness, this isn’t jsut about this particular post. The poster being referenced here seems to think the sharks are winning the cup this year somehow.

LD - Vlasic/Ferraro are both fine but way overpaid/years remaining on contracts. Ferraro seems to have regressed this year but has also played out of position/RD. Propspects - Muk, Thrun, Nikita (all recently acquired) seem promising. Simek is solid as well but has had multiple concussions which is concerning.

RD - pretty much just Benning if EK is traded in the offseason. It's brutal.
