Skjei fortunately isn't waiving for Winnipeg and the Jets aren't retaining on Wheeler to take back a worse contract.

The Montreal deal needs to have a first in there and Harris needs to be replaced. As a LHD he has no value to Winnipeg.

The Jets have no reason to give DeMelo away for a couple picks.

These are pretty easy passes by all non-Jets teams.

-Carolina probably needs Skjei more than Wheeler and can more cheaply fill a Wheeler role through free agency with their cap management.

-Moser AND 50% Schmaltz will cost A LOT more than that, especially if you expect Arizona to also take Schmidt. They just took less to not have to take salary back in a Chychrun trade, they're not retaining on a high salary player and taking salary back for a 1st in the teens and a couple of young D that haven't established themselves yet.

-Montreal isn't going to move Harris and Dach in a Dubois trade, it makes no sense for them.
