I think they have to be viewed through a different lens than other teams. The degree of difficulty in the Wpg market vs other markets is off the charts. Unless drafted (and that's still a big IF), almost zero % of players are willing to sign, or waive to be traded to Wpg.

If Hart doesn't want to stay for aPhilly rebuild (what else have they been doing for years), I guess Hart can always retire.

Brandt Clarke is not available under any circumstances. I'd trade him for the 1st overall pick this summer. That's the only exception.

The Kings would beat that offer for Hart with Turcotte and Spence and their 2024 1st before offering Clarke for a 29 year old Hellebuyck who's deal expires in a year as a UFA.

I dont understand this. I don't get why the Jets would do this? Trade away a top 5 goalie in his prime? A lot of value getting moved from this team for not a whole lot of benefit. Dvorak 2C? Your guys blueline is not that bad. Morrisey is your guys #1 and he has plenty of years ahead of him to still be that guy. Not talking about value here, but I'm just not understanding the direction you decided to take with this ACGM

Why? Hart is under team control for more years, ends as an RFA, and wouldn't require a contract bringing him into his late 30's. In addition, he wouldn't cost Blake their best prospect, like the proposed trade here.

That all seems like a much better option than moving Clarke, who is head and shoulders above our next prospect, currently.
