Just because you think something is fair value doesn’t mean it has a chance of being accepted, and this doesn’t have a prayer.

You are factually incorrect. The Florida pick is unprotected, you are giving it a false equivalence. And, you are not at all correct on the Calgary pick, it has conditions on it, it is NOT LOTTERY PROTECTED.
It can become a lottery pick under a few scenarios

Keller is hot right now. One dry spell and i guarantee you Yotes fans would be over the moon with this deal. They have Cooley coming and we see how superstars, sometimes, have a hard time sharing a puck, this isnt basketball! These dream teams like the Avs in 2003-2004 dont always work out with only one puck to share. Yotes need to add a lot more depth to be competitive in their new Tempe arena. 3 legit picks between 2OA-35OA isnt anything to scoff at with a rebuilding club plus Harris plus Evans plus Heineman whom probably is better than a B prospect but im being modest. I think he makes the Habs out of camp as he's been a great player in Sweden against men. Zona will need that kind of size in their lineup.

well im not really a yotes fan i just think he is one of the last roster players they would sell. he has been very good with little talent around him too, its just not worth it for them to sell him. i think in 2 seasons the yotes will try to compete, keller fits.well that timeline and they will need veteran presance. the 2 picks are nice but one is pretty far away too. i think its not the direction they want to go.
