Demko is OUR GOALIE OF THE FUTURE hes not going nywhere.He loves it in Vancouver.IMHO.

Canucks are looking to compete and won't trade Demko unless the offer is too god to pass up. This offer seems to be pretty close to that realm, I think they'd be crazy to not at least consider it.

any trade for Demko would have to start with Levi+

I'm not opposed to upgrading our goaltending or trading Jokiharju. However, I'm not in favour of trading our 2023 1st or keeping Comrie as one of our two NHL goalies. I think signing a capable UFA to be our starter and having UPL backup is the likely route. If we can package Joki and something else for either a better RHD or 3rd pair LHD that would be solid. Plenty of defensively responsible D on the UFA market this year. Don't forget about Johnson, if he signs with us he could slide into that 3rd pair on either side and be an impact player right away

that is a fair offer for Thatcher Demko since he's return to form as a top 5 goalie in the league but it probably still isn't enough to get VAN to part with him. BUF would need to give their 1st, UPL, Middlestadt and one of Power, Cozens or Krebs in order to get Alvin to pull the trigger. Before people crucify me for saying that is a ridiculous overpay, yes it is, thats the bloody point! Goalies like him are hard to find and it would have to be a ridiculous overpay for him to be allowed to leave VAN

Obviously Power or Cozens would never happen, but what has Krebs done to be put alongside those two in value? He’s not near their level

I think the Canucks would ask wpuld start with the 2023 1st + one of Savoie/Peterka/Quinn, and I doubt Buffalo does that
