You're going to give a few Winnipeg fans a lot of to think about it. I'm sure they are bored out there tho so they appreciate it.

Not even slightly realistic. Awful for teams that aren't Montreal.

You have to sign the player before you can trade a players rights you acquired. For unsigned players they will be in the reserve list. For RFA's like you have here you have to go to sign RFA's and go to Ottawa, it will show you have acquired his rights so you can sign him without compensation.
Now on the trades, no reason for Ottawa to do that. They don't really get better and they would prefer to keep Brannstrom as he has been pretty decent.
Now for the Jets trade. Holy eff that's got to be one of the worst yet. You could take out Dubois and they would say no. Armia and Hoffman hold no value. A LHD which they have 7 that can play in the NHL right now, really not needed. You likely have to add Kidney just for them to take those two players and that probably wouldn't be enough. Need alot more value and that value also needs to be something the Jets need. They could use centre and RHD prospects. Don't add Dvorak cause he's hurt and hurt for awhile so he has no value. If they for some reason need some salary coming back Hoffman with out retention might be included but he doesn't add value to the trade. They would be looking at Dach, Beck, Barron, Kidney, Mesar or Roy. I can almost guarantee one of those plus a first round pick, likely Florida's, needs to be in there. Don't add Mailloux either drive he's not cleared to play and has no value.
Good luck in the future.

Sens pass, as do the Habs. Habs havea minimum of 2 too many LHD and Ottawa is more than an Eddy and Evans from competing.

This is the best troll value I have seen for PLD and that includes the Jets fans asking for basically 3 1st round picks.

Sign/Offer sheet and select Ottawa and you will see "acquired" next to his name. Give him a contract then include him in a trade.

Like in your thread from the other day :

Quoting: Claesson4Norris
NAY NAY NAY NAY

Erik Brannstrom has very good underlying numbers, especially in the defensive end. Edmondson is a consistent tire fire defensively and he hurts his team offensively too. Brannstrom by a mile. He won't be expensive to hang on to, I'd be shocked if he got any more than the 1.75mil you have Edmundson at, and he's a drastic improvement in all three zones. Sens have absolutely no reason to be moving off of cost effective young assets given the cap crunch they're facing.

This is bang on

But I realize that fans from other teams might not know how good Brannstrom has been. He was thought to purely be an OFD, they look at hockeydb.com and think he's a semi bust.

MAJOR NAY

I'd want one of their good prospects for him.
