Jake Oettinger is Dallas' starting goalie. Among starting goalies, he is sixth in the League in wins, sixth in the League in goals-against average, and sixth in the League in save percentage.

Jack Campbell is probably the biggest free-agent signing bust of this season, and he's signed for four more seasons at a big cap hit. Meanwhile, Columbus' starting goalie is also signed for four more seasons (for less), is two years younger than Campbell, and doesn't have much worse figures than Campbell playing on the worst team in the League, so it's hard to imagine the Blue Jackets paying even one third-round draft pick to invest almost $10 million in two goalies.

If you think that either one of those proposed trades is anywhere close to realistic, especially side-by-side when Oettinger is an All-Star and Campbell is a waiver-wire candidate, you're either hallucinating or you're trolling.

You missed the super-realistic Bouchard and Klingberg contracts.

Oh, for sure.

I don't want to give up multiple 1sts for Campbell. Too much for him.

How about we just give our '23 1st? Unprotected, ofc.

klingberg would be lucky to get the barrie contract.

you could give bouchard that for 1 year but you would regret it later.

Dammit, yeah, I saw them and then forgot to include them in my comment. My conclusion should have been a one-sentence final paragraph: "Oh, and by the way, you have the Bouchard and Klingberg contracts reversed."
