1) That's a huge underpayment for Pettersson
2) The Pens aren't moving their best defensive dman.

No interest in that package.

Both packages seem quite light.

Although its funny, as of like a couple months ago Pens fans were trying to dump pettersson

I think the Sabres are very happy with how Rosen is developing, wouldn't be surprised if adams balked at moving him. And I don't think there is any precedent for a package like that for a goalie, certainly nothing recent. Adams doesn't seem like he would be the guy to pay an arm and a leg for a goalie.

The dumb ones. They are the same ones who called for dumping Zucker last year and are calling for dumping Petry now. They are also trying to get rid of DeSmith so they can overpay for a backup goalie on the FA market.

Pens aren't moving their only quality left D signed beyond this year for another right D. They have 5 NHL RD signed next season.
