Kasper has a broken knee cap. 6 week recovery. Hope it doesn't derail him.

And why do you say that? Highly skilled top 6 centre. Would fit well with kaprizov and zucc. Defensively sound team behind him. 4.5M cap hit. They have a really good team that can compete even with the buyouts. If they wait until the buyouts are passed the expensive years, Spurgeon will be 35, Brodin 32, Zucc likely gone.

I know super bad luck. I would like to see him start in the AHL personally and play at a high level there before he breaks into the NHL. I did leave the option for him, or another forward, to make the team in this roster. Send Chiasson or Czarnik down, Foligno 4th line and Copp could play wing if needed. Also not sure on Fabbri either, was his injury serious?

I don't think Fabbri's injury was serious. But given his injury history you never know.

The reason you want to keep him is also the reason I want to acquire him. He has some intangibles I really like. Glad you feel the offer is alright as I feel both of those players deserve a better opportunity on a different team.

Not going to lie, his contract extension and Chiarot signing are my two least favourite moves by Yzermam. He has a couple others I have my doubts on as well but those are my least favorite two.

Marat Khusnutdinov and the earlier of the two seconds Minnesota currently owns. If you don't know much about the player, look up his stats as he is probably top 6 prospect in Minnesota. They also don't retain anything.

Got it - no he is a great prospect, I know him. You just have him going to Vegas, not Washington. So was confused

He hasn't played well this year and is 30. Can't afford him even with double salary retention and the cost to acquire him, as you show, would be too much for how he's played this year. I would imagine Minnesota believes Rossi to be a contributor next year, and Ryan Hartman has shown he is able to play well with Kaprizov. In my opinion.

He’s not a great locker room guy.
The wild really can’t afford him.
The juice is really not worth the squeeze for him.
Guerin isn’t bringing in players with term, especially older players that don’t fit the team scheme. Far too many future assets for an aging player. They have skill players coming up.
The wild would be far better off long term keeping marat and their picks.
Foligno I could see them parting with at some point though.
