Varlamov isn’t likely to sign that low. He’ll be the 2nd best UFA goalie available

Not much respect for Ullmark's M NTC. Can't see the Canes or any team interested in 6m, Hall and his M NTC makes him a near impossible trade.

See I totally see CBJ being interested, you guys a 1-2 years from being a playoff team and he’s one of the best goalie in the game and would be a HUGE upgrade over Elvis. And he is young enough to be part of your next competitive window, the key is the return and if that’s worth the deal. But very rare that a playoff team is successful without good to great goaltending.

He is also older and would be looking for a backup role on a cup worthy team so I don’t think that’s far off because of the ideal situation. If not him then Ranta or Andersen could be a good option. Hell with that D even Reimer would look decent to good.

What would you guys be able to offer? To me Ullmark is gonna cost a 1st plus a very good prospect and maybe another 2nd/3rd.

More likely they trade Swayman imo, most likley Swayman signs a 1-2 year bridge and they both stay

Colorado had average goaltending. They have interest in Ullmark, they dont have interest in trading away Sillinger

I’d offer them our 2023 1st POJ as a LHD and a 2024 2nd

Interest in Ullmark, sure, but no interest in trading either of Sillinger or Marchenko.

They both have underperformed. I know having young prospects is exiting but the likely both cap out as top/middle 6 forwards

Kuemper is above average plus he had a very good year and also went on a hot streak! Look at the last 5 years and the goalies in the conference finals.
Save for Smith in Edmonton last year
Khudobin in Dallas in 2020
Jones and Binington in 2019
And Holtby in 18
They were all Elite netminder
And of the group above only Jones was in the finals after a bad year! The rest had career years to get to the final 4.

with all due respect, literally everything proposed here is so far off and unecessary for BOS. There are much more sensical and realistic transactions for the Bruins for each signing and trade.

Kuemper was .902 in the playoffs
Khudobin was .917 in the playoffs - quite good, nothing outstanding though
Jones was .898
Binner was .914
Holtby is the only one who I would call truly elite at .922

I do think that goaltenders help a ton for getting you to and through the playoffs, but all of these guys were average, on the good side of average, but not superstars aside from holtby

Imagine thinking a rookie scoring at a 30g pace is underperforming.

Those were the weaker goalies of the finals the last 5 years!
You’re kinda proving my point that’s it’s rare a team doesn’t win it without excellent goaltending!

And Kuemper save % may have been lower than it should be, but to be fair the teams he ran through to win the cup were stacked offensively (Tampa 3.5 GPG, Edmonton 3.53 GPG & St. Louis 3.79 GPG were elite scoring teams. Even Nashville was strong with 3.24)
He played better than his save % shows.

Pit and Car pass. Easily.
Pit has enough overpaid and underperforming dmen.
Car has no interest in Hall who hasn't been good / healthy in 6 years.

but Kuemper, Binner and holtby were the only ones who won, their average together is .912, and thats dead average, you need good goaltending, but you dont need much more than league average, I think if you have a top 15 goaltender, you have enough to get you to the cup

Then what do you want with them? Don’t neg your own trade.

Also, maybe do one google search first. Marchenko has done pretty much the opposite of “underperform.”
