Tampa in 6. Toronto comes out strong in the series, but finishes flat after being physically dominated by Tampa.

If we look at both teams against eachother this year

Tampa 82 hits total
Toronto 75 hits total

So how does 7 more hits = physical domination

Acciari, Schenn, Lafferty, McCabe, Bunting match Maroon, Perry, Paul, Colton, etc.

Final game between the 2 was a prime example of Leafs matching Tampa's physicality and even out beat them in some areas (Maroon vs. Schenn)

Toronto in 6

I got a feeling it will be the same as last time except this time we put the nail in the coffin in the series game 6.

As I doubt Kerfoot makes the same mistake twice.

Only if is goaltending but Sammy has been very good at home

But besides that they got a nice balance of speed, size, grit, and skill all of which should blend nicely together.

Difference between playoffs and not, you can't compare any teams in the regular season because it's completely different than the playoffs.

Even in the playoffs last year

The difference between the two in hitting was 50 hits with Toronto outhitting Tampa in 2 of the games and when Tampa outhit Toronto still pulled off a win (5-0 win when Tampa had 60 hits)

But remember this was without Schenn, Acciari, Reese, Lafferty, McCabe all of whom are physical players.

Playing field has been leveled as both teams bottom 6's are equal in the physical department especially when we consider Schenn and Acciari were top 10 in hits

Not the worlds biggest Leaves fan, however, I find that this could be the among least competitive series out of all of them.

Leaves in 5, would be 4 but some dumb controversial call will need to happen so people can get social media clicks and views.

No mercy. Ryan O’Rielly will send fans to happiness, with Boston as the last real challenge.

The source of this prediction is entirely team depth. Sorry bolts but you don’t have it anymore, while the Leaves have it in spades.

Its kind of funny how the Leafs demons are being almost perfectly set up for them in a potential playoff run

Tampa r1 (lost last year)
Boston r2 (b2b game 7's)
Carolina (REVENGE for that bruh moment)

Only finals is the new frontier lul

I think I'm actually going Toronto in 7, Tampa's D is a little less intimidating, goaltending will be the x-factor, if Vasy continues to stop everything thrown at him, Tampa has a very good shot, Samsonov needs to perform

Tampa hasn't been good. And it's impossible for an entire team to "flip the switch" so there's a potential for the best Leafs team we've seen in years (maybe ever) can just stroll past them.

However, it's absolutely possible for one player to flip a switch. Vasy on his day is the best goalie in the world and is absolutely capable of stealing a series if a couple bounces go Tampa's way.
So as a Bolts fan, let's say an optimistic Tampa in 6.

Toronto has shown that they can beat him. Vas only had an .897% in last years series.

Not saying he'll repeat those numbers, but he's beatable.

Leafs in 6.

Tampa doesn't have a clear direction on what they want to do with their lines.
Obviously a switch can flip in a moments notice, but Idk in this case.
