Ya I would tell him to smash guys on the forecheck. But yeah you can switch him with somebody else. I just kind of did that to balance the lines out.

How do you figure? They have Zucker (5.5), Dumoulin (4), Jarry (3.5) coming off their books. All the others are roughly 1MM and would require equal money replacements. So with the cap going up 1MM, they have 14MM. They are going to need at least 4 - 5 MM for a goalie. So they have 9MM. Nylander would be 7MM, leaving them with 2MM to fix their terrible defense.

They don't have the cap room. Unless you want Carter or Granlund in the trade as well.

Right. And if you play a bunch of rookies, you probably had around 2MM in cap space left. So let me ammend my comment.

The Pens don't have cap space for a scoring winger when they will have to use salary cap to fix their terrible defense.

If the Pens found a partner for Carter and Petry, I think they would be interested in Nylander. The other issue is that they couldn't resign him and that is a steep steep price for a rental on a team that won't be competitive in 3 - 4 years.
