Description
What would the likes of Anderson and Lindholm cost realistically?
I think Hronek is a good comp for Anderson, let me know if I’m mistaken. (Mid round 1st and second for Hronek and a 4th)
Horvat is prob a good one for Lindholm. (Horvat 25% retained for top12 protected 1st, b level prospect, middle 6 roster player.

I made them two separate trades to better show the value but basically: 1st and Al for Andersson (IMO Johansson is better than a 2nd but if you’d rather a 2nd, I’d gladly oblige. Andersson has an extra year on his contract vs Hronek so that’s where the additional value plays in). A 1st, Zadina (comparable to Raty), and Fabbri (comp to Beauvillier but oft inj) for Lindholm. I’d be fine with Boston 1st instead of Det or Veleno, Elmer, or another prospect to replace one of the players.

Fabbri and Zadina have zero value so if Lindholm is really a target your going to have to add something different there. Can't imagine they move Anderson unless it's a crazy overpay and that's not it.

Marco Kasper has to be on the table for any conversation to start for either player

Those are way way off. Purely based on their Defensive and Two Way Play:

Lindholm > Horvat
Andersson > Hronek

Lindholm’s comparable is Jack Eichel post neck surgery and Andersson is untouchable, so it’d have to be the equivalent of FOUR 1st Round Picks = something no GM in their right minds would do. That’ll only change in 2 years from now if extending Andersson doesn’t look possible or feasible

Seriously, we don’t want to move either player and the interest and demand for both guys is extremely high

Well if that’s the “realistic” cost then I guess we wait till Lindholm walks as a UFA in a year and look elsewhere for a RD

Best of luck. Odds are he's not walking

You think there’s a realistic chance he re-ups this summer?

False. You don't definitely don't get a #1 defenseman under 5M with term for an unproven prospect. Kasper has potential but thats all he has right now. He had a solid showing in the SHL this year but nothing spectacular. Look what you just got for Hronek, Andersson is a hell of a lot better than Hronek

I’d love to see it - but his year end presser left some questions on that front for sure…same with 11

Looks like he played well when it mattered the most but 8 Goals and 23 Points in 52GP isn’t what most people would consider ”spectacular“

Did you listen to the whole thing or just read the first quoted part? He said later in the presser that its not July 1st yet and they haven't even talked about an extension yet

> Matched Raymond's point pace
> 3rd in league for PIMs [mostly gritty penalties]
> First season as a center
> Don't know how he ended but half way he was top 10 in the SHL in GAR or WAR
As an 18 y/o.

His game isn't scoring. His game is being a hornet; he's everywhere on the ice and hitting anything that moves.

It's a lower ppg than Raymond in his D+1 year. For example it's quite a bit worse than Lindholm in his draft year. Nothing special

Thanks for the information, I don’t know the guy, so I’m just going off what I can see. It’s your job to tell us the facts if you know and want to share, but you don’t gotta be rude about it to get there.

Stick to your facts and I’ll stick to my points and observations. I’ll either justify my point or be taught and educated differently.

It’s just conversation, there’s no need to get anxious or grouchy over it

Apologies if I got rude. It's just tiresome being a broken record having to repeat the fact that Marco Kasper, as a matter of fact, had a phenomenal D+1 season, and that he wasn't drafted for his offensive capabilities.
