????? You really think Jeannot signs that offer sheet or Tampa doesn't match?

The Blues won't have interest in that, I'd assume.

I’d assume since they spent 5 picks on him they will over pay for him as well but they don’t have very much to work with.

Yea no… Seems Blais perfectly fits in with STL and it works for both sides as they brought him back

Tampa matches that in a millisecond and says THANKS! Bolts can easily afford that.

I know it's a long shot but I see Blais becoming the next Tage Thompson

Yeah the blues don't do that. Blais fits us well and he is cheap. No need to trade for the older more expensive Granlund when we are trying to get younger and are retooling

Yeah, he was. He was the main player piece in the ROR trade, dude. Development takes time. Sammy isn't going to suddenly become a star talent at 27, as lovely as that would be.

Some players do. Tage wasnt all that a few years back. I see hints of him in Blais personally.

Umm okay then. I mean they don;t play the same position or the same style or have the same body type, but hey, if you want Sammy to turn into a 95-point player, don;t let me stop you. squinty smile

But yes, he was a pretty highly rated prospect who took a while to bloom.

Huh? I'm talking about Jeannot.

And you'd trade Blais for two years of Granlund why? What possible reason would there be to do such a thing? Think, man.

Why are we trading a 3rd for someone that won’t crack the lineup? Who’s he playing over? Petro? Theo? Martinez? McNabb? Hague? Whitecloud? I’m not even sure he plays over KK or Miromanov. We are really set at defense. Using any assets seems like a waste tbh
