They need to put him on his own line tonight, away from JT and Matthews. At least for a bit, let him get confident and out of his head. Then he'll get rolling. He's done this so many times, he desperately wants to be the hero but when it's not working he second guesses himself and does the opposite of what he normally does. Hopefully he just really stops caring and goes out and has fun, if he does that, he'll get back to himself.

I think it's fair but might have been taken out of context. I'm not disrespecting Wash just saying they should have accomplished more with their core players. Every team has similarities, the difference is it didn't take the caps 6 years to make it out of the first round. Also, if Pitt was better as you claim wouldn't that be reason to adjust when they couldn't win at that point? This year and the all Canadian division are 2 blown opportunities by this core. I would also say Boston's core has failed with only winning 1 cup with them.

Agree about the coach but the blame needs to go around and nobody should get a free pass. Nick Nurse was such an effective coach he would tell the media his gameplan before the game because he knew he could adjust throughout the game, Sheldon Keefe does not and has not to this point in his coaching career been able to do that.

They are going to give you chances, be patient for them and capitalize on them and the rest of the time just give them nothing easy. Try to win 1-0 every game and you'll win against florida. Try to beat them 5-1 and you lose 4-3
