Columbus should absolutely do this. They’d probably want Peeke switched out for like a forward roster player but getting Lindholm and Fantilli/Bedard is huge

He won't be available until after July 1st if at all and that return is pretty mediocre

Calgary is going to want more for Lindholm without an extension and Columbus shouldn’t be giving up more without getting Lindholm with an extension. The best way to go if Lindholm doesn’t extend is to go after him as a UFA and see if Gaudreau can convince him to come to Columbus.

Based on the horvat deal this should be more than enough especially without an extension. I agree to wait though. It seems pretty unlikely he stays in Calgary so I would just wait to see if Johnny can convince him to come to Columbus

Add in sillinger and boqvist or bean.

In all honesty, CGY would be silly to move good, talented players just because they don't align with the coach. I'm not sure this is an example, but simply I mean they should hold on to this type of talent and find a way to surround them.
