I'm not a fan of acquiring Hellebuyck without an extension, but if he comes with one like Kevin Fiala did and it's $8 million or under, I'm in.

Petersen's contract is misunderstood by everyone who thinks it will cost a first to unload, so that's a reasonable offer for a goalie who isn't going to re-sign in the Great North.

Can't see the Jets doing this trade. They should be able to get a similar package for Hellebuyck without taking back a bad contract like Petersens
