The whole ‘like Hagel’ doesn’t count because they were paying that for his contract he was on (3 x $1,500,000) at the time of the trade

A whole lot of not very interesting pieces outside of Durzi. This deal just has too much going on to really make much sense of it. If NSH trades Saros to LAK, I bet they’d have more interest in some of your younger forwards.

Zero chance Iafallo returns a 1st, let alone two. You think Durzi and Iafallo has the potential to return four 1st round picks? If I thought that, I’d keep them and trade them myself…

Well the Kings have got better in goal ( Saros over Peterson) at the same cap, but worse everywhere else and traded futures too. IMO the Kings are no better on the ice next season.

Fair but like I said it POSSIBLY gets you 2 1st. Easily gets u another 1st like I said at the TDL. Only happens if they decide to sell. Besides that do u think its fair?

Do you know what Iafallo does? Iafallo easily gets u a 1st at the TDL and I just said possibly 2. Like I also said this only happens if Nashville or Winnipeg decides to sell. Those are some VERY GOOD prospects to start the rebuild

They get a beast of a goalie for 2 more years and possibly more. That gets you better. Goalie is one of the most important pieces in the playoffs. You have to trade alot to get a top 5 goalie

Arvidsson was a beast in the playoffs, no need to move him.

The Kings should move one or more of: Petersen, Grundstrom, Durzi, Walker. Even at a loss, the Kings should have enough internally for a run. Getting another goaltender isn't going to be the move, we'll use Korpi as our cheap stop gap and hope Erik Portillo is our future #1.

Reup Korpisalo, if we are signing Graves at $5M, I'd rather just pay Gavrikov $5.5x3 as he is a proven commodity.

Thats a very defense heavy return for nashville with the bulk of them not being waiver exempt at beginning of next season. 4 dmen (only spence is waiver exempt next year per the waiver calcuator) when nashville already has 6 nhl d and 7 if the keep foote around. The return is probably adequate for nashville but would necessitate a whole lot of other unnecessary moves to make things work out.

Teams can't just add a net gain of 7 contracts in a trade.

This is for 23 man roster reasons, 50 contract limit reasons

This is also a horrible offer. There is almost nothing of value here at all.

I hear what you are saying but Ardvisson is gone after next year either way bc of the prospects coming up so Id thought to get some draft capital. With Korpi I thought he was good too but he won't win us a championship and with Kopi and Doughty getting older you know Rob Blake wants to compete and there were some saves Korpi should've made and didn't. Saros is still young and under control and with all those prospects coming up, you have to look at a move and I think Goalie was the biggest potion we need help with.

As far as the Graves signing, he gives us size and strength as long with a shutdown dman that would help Clarke do his magic with the puck. I just don't think Gavrikov brings the same thing Graves would with Clarke paired with him.

If you're offering ten pieces for one player you're either not offering good enough pieces, or you're about to give up too much for Tanner Jeannot.

That's fair and all of the dmen are not NHL ready and only happens if they rebuild. You get Turcotte but yeah alot of dmen. Maybe instead of Bjornfont Kupari? I also think if they rebuild they won't be keeping that dcore. I think the only safe ones are is McDoughah, Josh and maybe Foote. I think they're trading fabbro tbh. Solid dmen prospects coming in to fill the other 3 slots whenever they're NHL ready

Why not just re-sign Korpisalo?
