Description
At least overhaul the D if you're gonna run it back:
- Girard and Colton might be the odd ones out and could be realistic targets.
- Severson (like all UFAs for WPG) may be a tough get, so you overpay.
- Unsure if Rutta is an upgrade from Schmidt or not, but he's got a championship pedigree and a lesser cap hit at the very least.
- I can see PLD extending 3/4Y to match Connor and Ehlers timeline.
- Give Wheels a proper sendoff and a chance to win a cup -- Avs could use some skill for cheap if Nuke and Landy are out.

      I seriously doubt Detroit would target Neal Pionk, There are already rumblings that Yzerman has interest in Tyson Barrie from the Preds. Connor and or Hellebuyck would only be the ones we would be targeting from Winnipeg.

      Pens pass on that, Dillion = Dumolin and Dumolin is finally off the books, i'd rather keep Rutta.

      Very doubtful that the Hawks use one of their 2 remaining retention spots to only get a 4th back when they have trade chips like Murphy, Tyler Johnson, Dickinson, Zaitsev, and whatever 1 year UFA signings they make that offer them to potential to return better picks.

      Dillon did have a better year this year (he would have led the Pens in goal prevention by dmen) but he was SOOO bad last year. It wouldn't be worth the risk.
