Random question, what’s the value difference between best goalie available in draft probably somewhere between Florida pick and Montreal second vs hart?

If you trade the 5th OA pick++ for him, I imagine it's because you believe at one point he will be the best goalie in the league

Probably the first Hart deal that I have seen that’s actually fair value lol I would probably even do it for 1st and Barron + whatever cap dumps you wanna throw in. People don’t understand how good Hart is and the fact that many teams would be interested if he becomes available and that the Flyers aren’t forced to move him and could easily wait til someone gets desperate at the deadline and way overpays for him then. You’re going to have to overpay to get him that’s just the reality of it people think you can get him for scraps it’s hilarious

I agree it's an overpay but he's never getting $10 mil. I think GMs have realized that paying goalies a lot of money is bad for business.
