CGY doesn’t accept
And why in the world would you want Blackwell?
Or a Tatar for $5M that is seriously gross. That 24pts in 52 playoff games and 1 pt in the playoffs just screams give him money?

The Hawks say yes. I can't claim to understand why Newhook hasn't progressed as much as I thought he would have, BUT for a 3rd and Blackwell...YES we'll take a crack at it for sure.

I think he is one of those young guys that was really impacted by Covid. Start and stop, then basically going from playing a 35-40 game season to a Stanley cup run where the coach punishes mistakes he has struggled a bit. Imo he needs consistent ice time and the mandate to drive play particularly shoot the puck. I think he takes a big step this year.

There are a lot of guys like that. COL can't really sell on him now. This will be a tough thing, but he really should get #2C minutes and not just a handful of games. I don't think COL should have to worry about making the playoffs. Play the regular season like you're truly developing these guys. It'll help in the long run. 13:57 ATOI...gotta get that up to ~17 next year.

Would the avs talk to the caps about Kuznetsov? Maybe trade Girard and something else for Kuzy. With Landy going on LTIR they are fit Kuz in and he would be a great 2nd line center.

No way Calgary considers this: they need to move a defenseman already and would be left with Kadri as their top line center. Want to take Kadri?

It's been a pretty common trade on here for various offers and values.

100%. It’s my one **** about Bednar, young guy makes a mistake hello 8 minute night, but he’ll run the top 4-5 forwards 20+ minutes and MacK almost 25. Sometimes you gotta let them learn and you’re right it’s not like COL is going to miss the playoffs.

Love Naz but CGY gave him that contract they can keep it, don’t see it aging well.
