Make the ‘23 third a ‘25 third and then throw a late rounder in 2023 to make up for it and it’s a deal

Selling low to clear cap and then overpaying a few players. It can work, it just won't lead to good results.

Canucks decline. We have no room for more expensive wingers

Where do you see an overpay here??? Honestly curious...feel like majority of these contract signings are good value...Trades clear cap but also bring in draft picks which we desperately need

We have two left-handed defensemen with NHL experience, and one of them is the inexperienced Tobias Bjornfot. So given Ullmark's $5 million cap hit and our cap situation, it's unlikely we'd be including Bjornfot in any trade -- much more likely is Sean Walker or even Viktor Arvidsson.

Let's start with Graves. He's #4 D. 5x$4.5M is way too much for him and he doesn't fit in the Bruins timeline. Bertuzzi as well, not to include his injury history the past 3 years. Fast 3x$2.75M for his age 32-34 seasons could also backfire (see Craig Smith). Bruins have a few players in Providence who could be ready and will cost much less for the same level of play than Fast and Joshua/Foligno/Hathaway.

You clear cap but by selling low on Grzelcyk and Hall. Grzelcyk is worth more than two late 3rds. So should Hall (and if he isn't, you don't trade him now). Actually, it's better to keep Hall 2x$6M instead of Bertuzzi 5x$5.75M when they have the same level of play and Hall's contract will end soon.

Doubt the Kings say yes to including Bjorfot, they kinda need him due to a lack of LHD depth. And honestly if we're signing Graves I'd be ok with not taking Bjornfot cause then you'd be blocking either his or Lohrei's development. Maybe make it Pinelli instead of Bjornfot? Or just extra picks?

Bit too much for the penguins, specially with what other B's fans have been posting for sending Grz. It's typically been one pick and definitely not 2 3rds.

Canucks decline. We don't have the cap space or need for Hall, we have too many expensive wingers as is.
