Leafs aren't looking for a goalie. So the leafs lose Woll on waivers and give up a 1st and 3rd rounder for Gus. Woll is the leafs future #1 and maybe as soon as next season.

I love Woll, and he’ll get his chance, but I wouldn’t want to bet a season on him. This leaves room for one of the two to end up on the IR, or to be traded. I do agree that he’s probably the future #1

Didn’t cost very much to move Mrazek last draft and he was a far more negative asset. Helps the rebuilding Flyers hit the cap floor

If he isn't on the leafs roster he has to clear waivers to be sent down to the marlies. Someone will pick him up real quick.

Uh I’ll just say this, ur wrong lol. Mrazek was moved for a 1st and his contract was $3.8M. Murray is close to double that cap hit so moving him with 100% cost more. I would only take Murray and a 1st for future considerations nothing going back to the Leafs. Also the Flyers literally have cap problems with too many bad contracts what do you mean it helps them hit the cap floor? 😂 they literally need cap relief

Mrazek wasn’t moved for a 1st. He was moved with a 2nd for a 1st, a total of moving down **13 spots** in the draft.

I think where the movement was matters. Going from 38 to 25 is worth 91 in value per the Schuckers Draft Pick Value chart. This trade would be going from 58 to 93, which is worth 54 in value per Schuckers. I also think that moving up from the second round to the first round is also worth more in value than the chart describes.

Murray's cap hit and contract are similar to Nikita Zaitsev. It cost pick 44 and a 2026 4th rounder to move him. That's worth 196 now and ~100 in the future, which depending on how you want to discount future picks back, it's worth about an early 2nd rounder to move a contract.

Thanks for doing the math lol. Murray’ contract sucks even tho it’s only for 1 year nobody is taking his contract for a late 2nd

Canucks decline. Moving Hoglander for Robertson only moves a winger with potential for a winger with potential and injury issues. Canucks don't need more guys with injury issues. We're also dealing with a logjam at winger, so moving one for another doesn't do anything for us. If Hoglander gets moved, it's for a young RHD in a similar situation to him.

People seem to forget that Murray posted a league average save percentage in the games when he did play. He’s not completely unplayable like Mrazek or a constant drag on your defence like Zaitzev.
