I'd argue markstrom may be a cap dump, you'd have to deadline trade him after a bounceback

IDEK why calagry would consider that tanev trade

Buffalo is not paying that much for markstrom who has been much more inconsistent in his Flames tenure then given credit for

Mangiapane for only a 2nd is also dumb

CBJ might actually accept that trade, but you'd have to take Texier out or replace him with another forward. Columbus supported him all year and he's finally ready to come back...we're not going to toss him into a trade from a purely human standpoint.

I’d swap mateychuk for someone else like svozil. Wheeler has him as one of the best defensive prospects not currently in the NHL

I love your love for Tex but damn this is threating me with a good time right here. I would be willing to swap in bemie foudy or robo. IF they wouldnt be willing to do that its still a lot to consider.

Came down here to say the same thing. Swap out Tex for whatever of similar value and I'd be down, just would want some protection on that 1st next year. Nothing crazy, but maybe top 5/7, just in case, ya know?

I was not aware, after doing some research I understand. Who would you replace him with IYO?

If you're looking for a young winger, Bemstrom could use a change of scenery and is the same age as Tex but cheaper. Roslovic half-retained could also work, he's another player that's useful as a center or on the wing and has looked really good at times, but also disappears at times. Something around one of those two would work for CBJ, it's just hard to gauge Tex's trade value so there's not a clear one-for-one swap.
