I'm at the point where I'll be disappointed if Jarmo doesn't trade for Gryz.

Sabres are not giving up assets to get ullmark back. If they wanted to keep him, they would've paid him.

No chance you get that much for Ullmark or Hall.

Roslovic for him one for one makes so much sense.

They did want to keep him lol, they even released that buffalo had offered him 6x4 but he took the bruins offer instead

We are the most logical destination for one of their defenders lol. We need a gap stop defender for this season and Boston has 2 they are most likely getting rid of. Trades are def going to happen this month before the draft in the first week of July. Just need Bettman to announce what the Cap Limit will be next season. I will also be mad if Jarmo doesn't trade with Boston.

My best recollection is he wanted 6x6 from buffalo, which we rebuffed, which would support "if we wanted to pay him we would have"

I like Linus, but I know he went through some tough contract battles here and of course we lost alot.

I'd suggested that in an ACGM and seen it elsewhere one for one. I think it makes sense, but a couple people didn't want to take on Roslovic's contract (which, why not, and what about potential retention?).

Either way, Gryz for the 3rd OR for Roslovic both make sense, and I'd like to see either of them.

Agreed - especially with Ullmark's all-star season reinforcing in his mind that he should be the unquestioned starter, putting Levi into a secondary spot.

His M-NTC probably includes Buffalo.......

Given that it was 2 years ago, there aren't many media links like TBN or The Athletic still online to articles from then but I recall both John Vogl of The Athletic and the TBN reporters documenting that the Sabres had offered the same money as Boston but with 1 less year of term. Ullmark took the job security of a longer contract (and likely a chance to win sooner in Boston). I recall also Adams acknowledging that when he met with the media afterwards.
