That's a spicy trade with Boston. Scary one to make in the division for both teams. Boston declines.

Spicy, but not enough for Swayman. Goalies are more valuable than Centers, simple fact

No they don’t. Painful as it is to move Sway they take that deal.

On ice sure, in actual trade value. No.

I just don’t think Pinto has that upside.

I absolutely love pinto, he is great on the dot ... responsible on both ends of the ice, can play in all situations.... and in his first season put up 20 goals. I think he will be a really good 2c in his prime or an elite 3c and it kills me to lose him but with stutzle norris as our 1/2 I can't see us having the ice time or being able to pay him what he deserves after a 2 year bridge. Also having grieg helps swallow the loss a little I think he will turn out to be a great 3c

I think with an 8 year extension it has to be a forward that can impact now and I know lots of sens fans will say they won't trade in division but they will have to take the best deal possible and if thats detroit so be it. As for detroit fans Berger I'd a favorite and has upside but not 40 goal upside. I know it's hard to trade a young promising forward but this is more thenba fair deal for the cat with an 8 year deal.

22 - already has a 20g season, win 52% faceoffs, doesn’t suck defensively.

Already proven he can handle middle 6 center role. Will he be a #1? No. Will Boston get a #1 for Swayman? Probably not, unless they get lucky with a pick or prospect they get in return. They could get a 1st or high end prospect for Sway and they could bust. Pinto is safe as we know he can play, and can step right into lineup.
