Canucks should definitely take that. We get a 1st for Boeser which is already probably over market value, but we also get a 3rd and Jokiharju who we can either keep or flip for another pick (probably a 3rd). We're getting a 1st + 3rd + 3rd for Boeser when his value shouldn't be more than a 2nd.

Overpaying in all 3 trades. Frankly by kinda a lot.

Thank you, I thought I was crazy when I saw these. Goalies don't usually get firsts, ullmark was a perfectly fine goalie here, that went to a veteran bruins team and looked fantastic. I'm not sure why trading Rosen, 14oa 2 drafts ago, coming off a very nice ahl season, and adding upl and pick 45- that's preposterous. As for the Murray trade, getting a late first is nice, but we are sending a retained olofsson back, that's not nothing. Plus I don't like going after Murray because I don't think our owner will buy him out, so he will probably get a chance to play, which nobody wants (including murray).

Thats where we differ.I dont think we should waste our time and assets on players we dont need.Lets use our assets to trade for players we need.As per our GM we are in a win in a couple of yrs mode.we need the right players now not in a few years.weve dont a decent job of restocking the system and first round picks are not guarenteed success.IMHO.

This is all overpayment from Sabres just for sake of making a trade. Ullmark would be nice, but rest is just pointless. VO should be moved, because of prospects already in the system, not because he should be replaced by Boeser

Thing is it's still an overpay for Boeser. We have too many wingers, if a deal like this comes up I think we have to take it. We can take the picks we get in this deal and use them to fill those holes. We could get very good 3C for the picks, and the guy we'd get would probably be much more valuable than Boeser.

i'd do the murray deal. picking up a first for oloffson is a win and we can afford to bury murray. he will agree to a buy out if another team will actually give him minutes in the league. if not, he'd have no choice but play well enough in the A to regain a spot and he wouldn't be bad as a 3rd goalie option. under this scenario, someone would claim comrie. maybe even toronto.
