That's the kind of trade you offer for an aging vet not a guy coming off a solid rookie season. The Jackets have no reason to consider a trade like that.

What? Like getting a top prospect, very good prospect and 2nd round for Marchenko is...bad? That would be win for Jackets...

That CGY trade is a travesty for EDM and the CBJ isn't much better. No world I imagine BUF offers that kind of asset for Ceci (Rodrigue is a negligible addition).
