As long as there's a guarantee Texier returns next season I think the Hawks accept.

He's set to come back and I highly doubt the Jackets would be trading him anytime soon considering the situation surrounding him.

It's next years 2nd so there's a chance it won't be #35 and they're getting this year's CGY 3rd (70th) in return. Texier is really good imo. I think given the right teammates he's easily a 50-60 point guy who can kill penalties.

Not sure how the value lines up though but I'm a fan of Texier and think this offer is decent.
