I don't think the Petry deal makes sense for either Columbus or Pittsburgh.
The Jackets already have a lot of viable options at RHD. I'd have to think at least one of Peeke, Boqvist, or Gudbranson would have to be moved as it is. What good does adding Petry and Rutta do for them?
And it doesn't do the Pens any good. Rutta I'm fine with moving, but Petry is hard to replace with this UFA class. Especially because the Jackets just aquired the only guy I actually liked as a Petry replacement.

I know it has become commonplace for Jarmo to pants the Hawks in trade...but there is a different GM now. Murphy is a 1st or he is not getting moved. Retained, he is a first and a 2nd and not two bottom 6 wingers.
