People may hate on this but I feel it's close. 1st (lots could change after next year and the first could be a lot higher then people think). Both prospects are worth 'B" grades plus a second. By stockpiling the seconds they have they can move back up to the firs round in the next few drafts if they want.

I don’t know about this Saros trade. I think the Preds should ideally be looking for quality > quantity with him. My ideal price would be a 2023 1st + A level prospect +

And why would they do that? A bunch of throwaway pieces for a point a game guy on a good contract.

Toronto gives up nothing of value there.

As far as the Calgary deal - it's not even remotely close.

The way I see it is:

Timins - a future top 4 dman, who shown strong strides in Toronto this season.
Robertson - very high class prospect, expected to be full time nhler.
Petruzelli - I feel this guy still has NHL potential, similar to a jack cambell.
      and a 3rd.

For Schmaltz, a very good player, but not a point per game guy. He has never his a point per game season in his career. He came close yes, but close doesn't cut it.

Lots of "ifs" in this deal, so maybe we change 3rd to a 1st or 2nd. But otherwise, I don't mind it for arizona

I certainly wouldn't view those Toronto pieces in that respect, but that's fair if you do!

I think a first would be needed.
