With that goaltending, this team isn't event the 4th best team in the division.

That's a very easy no for the blues. Not retaining 2.5 mil for 7 years and the best asset we get is a 2025 first.

Van is over the cap already next year they’re not good enough to make playoffs and getting off a player that is not good at defence and hurts the team more than helps. You get pick 14 which can help u and Poulin and Smith that r good young players that are more in Pettersons time line.

Unfortunately there is no chance Petry agrees to go to Arizona.

I'd have no interest in taking on Miller at this point. Guy is poison and the contract is way too long.

Blackwood would be another Samsonov deal maybe u can do 1 year but I believe Blackwood can become what he was for the first 2 seasons with New Jersey

That’s y I also got back Martin so it can be a three goalie tandem I think if Blackwood plays like samsonov did with Toronto and Ned can do what he did in Carolina if not then put Martin in he looked good for Vancouver

Yeah expect we aren't over the cap next year, if you think Miller hurts the team more than he helps than you clearly don't watch the Canucks.

...what does Blackwood have to do with Samsonov in TOR? Thats such an odd comparison. It's not like it's Blackwood going to the same team Samsonov improved on.

Not really a fan of any of this to be honest. Not trying to be an ass lol.

Blackwood isn't good. That goaltending is very bad. Spending a ton of money on defense. Paying to dump Petry to just replace him with Ghost? Giving up good assets for Parayko just to play him on the third pair? Lot of questionable moves here imo.
