You assume their is a plan, and with Leafs/Raptors/Blue Jays all owned by Rogers......don't think there is a plan, kinda like this post.
Some trades good for the Leafs, some poor. And the UFA signings, generally too much $$$ and term for given to the players.

I mean value aside, that Nashville trade makes actually no sense for them.
Why would they give up the only thing keeping that team from obscurity for a player that's win now? Makes no sense.
