Inspired by the Frank Seravalli tweets (of players leaving Calgary) and Craig Conroy’s vision of building a team of players who want to play for the Flames. I want to (re)build a roster where players are [hopefully] more committal to the team…

Columbus Blue Jackets: Jake Bean (from Calgary LD/RD) trade
Nicolas Aube Kubel (shoots right RW from Slave Lake) trade from Washington

Sabres trade makes no sense for us. No clue where Toffoli or Lindholm would play. Our top 6 is pretty much already set.

Only guys from Calgary that make sense for us are Hanifin or Tanev.

Lindholm would be awesome as a middle 6 center, but there is no way I would move prime assets without a right d coming back, a defensive d that plays physical to pair with power. Not interested in vladar, and we have a ton of forwards, toffoli wouldn't be somebody I would pay a premium for.

I appreciate the the effort in the description and who you’d be looking to add. I think you need to look at the other teams needs a bit more and also not under sell the Flames assets.

I think Hanifin might be a better fit for Buffalo and Lindholm might be a better fit for Columbus.

If Conroy called Adams with that deal, I would hope Kevin would say yes before Craig woke up from his drunken stupper.
Buffalo could flip them for much more than Krebs and the 13 th OA.
